The Knicks have signed point guard Sun Yue to a partly guaranteed contract. He might make the Knicks roster. But even if he does, he won’t do much.

Donnie Walsh announced on Friday that the free agent guard Gabe Pruitt has been signed by the Knicks to a contract. Pruitt, believe it or not, is a better signing for the Knicks than Jason Kidd or Allen Iverson. He’s young, very talented and has a lot to prove that he belongs in the NBA. The Knicks are young and rebuilding too and need a point guard. Though they should have just spent the money to sign Ramon Sessions. The Bucks didn’t even match. But what happened to Clippers Mike Taylor? Who’s better than Pruitt. Is he in that bad of shape?

The Milwaukee Bucks officially declined to match the four-year, $16 million offer sheet for guard Ramon Sessions on Friday, allowing Sessions to go to the Minnesota Timberwolves. David Kahn strikes again. The Timberwolves just replaced Ricky Rubio with Ramon Sessions, for four years. Then Ricky Rubio can come to the NBA. Great move. The Timberwolves team looks young and dangerous now. And they have tons of cap space to spend in the summer of 2010. Bad move for the Bucks. Brandon Jennings is only a rookie. Luke Ridnour and Roko Ukic aren’t that good. The Bucks aren’t going anywhere.

The Clippers have re-signed restricted free agent forward Steve Novak. The team announced the deal Friday. After a post I wrote a couple of days ago the Clippers actually resigned Steve Novak. They took a long time. Steve Novak played great last season for the Clippers and deserves more respect than that. I don’t understand why no other team were interested in him. He’s a very good three point shooter. Novak averaged 6.9 points and 16.4 minutes in 71 games last season, his third in the NBA. He shot 42 percent from 3-point range. He should be a great scorer, next season off the Clipper bench.

The New Orleans Hornets trade Antonio Daniels to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Bobby Brown and Darius Songaila. The Timberwolves did this to save money. Kahn is doing a pretty good job there. He knows what he’s doing. The New Orleans Hornets did this to basically get Bobby Brown. A player that they wanted ever since he played for their summer league team. Bobby Brown dominated the summer league last year but instead of signing with the Hornets, he signed with the Sacramento Kings. The New Orleans get two decent bench players in Bobby Brown and Darius Songaila.

It’s a sad day for Allen Iverson. He officially signs with the Memphis Grizzlies. After none of the better teams like the Bobcats, Knicks, Heat or even the Clippers offered him a contract. Allen Iverson basically signed with the Memphis Grizzles because he had no choice. No team offered him a contract. It was either sign with the Grizzlies or retire. Allen Iverson is basically going to come off the bench for the Grizzlies. The Grizzles are one of the worst franchises in the league. Why not take less money and come off the bench for a contender like the Celtics? I don’t know what Allen is thinking. He will never become the same player he once was. He’s too old. With Allen Iverson and Zach Randolph there, the Grizzles are going to be a disaster. Michael Heisley is only signing Allen Iverson to sell tickets.
Why haven’t the Clippers signed Steve Novak yet? Steve was the only bright spot for the horrible Clippers last year. He was a great steal for the Clippers, who got him from the Rockets for just a second round pick switch option. Steve is a dangerous three point shooter. Ranked #19 in the NBA in Three-Point Field-Goal Percentage(0.416) Ranked #36 in the NBA in Three-Point Field Goals Made(119.0) Ranked #1 in the NBA in Three-Point Field Goals Per 48 Minutes(4.92) And averaged 6.9 points off the bench. Not bad. I’m still surprised that no team has gone after him when he is such a good three point shooter.

Clippers today waived Mike Taylor. What?!?!! What are the Clippers doing? Mike Taylor was a second round steal last season. He played great with DeAndre Jordan. Throwing up many nice looking lob dunks. What are the Clippers reason for waiving Mike? Mike did have a horrible summer league. But that was the summer league!!!!! The summer league doesn’t matter. The Clippers better resign him. The Clippers are essentially replacing Taylor with Sebastian Telfair as the Clippers back up point guard. It’s just horrible to be a Clipper fan. If the Knicks are smart they’ll sign Mike Taylor not Jason Williams.

Why does there seem to be so many Europeans on the Raptors roster? What are the Raptors trying to do? Why did Hedo Turkoglu sign there? Is it because Toronto is a world class city? Toronto is a world class city but there is another reason to these moves. The answer is that Bryan Colangelo is a genius. His main plan is to fill the entire Raptors roster with Europeans to help Chris Bosh. What a genius!!! European basketball players for the most part are better basketball players than Americans. And it helps sell tickets in Canada. Canadians are closer to Europeans. A country colonized a long time ago by the French and the British. They have a large french speaking population. The fans like the European players because it resembles them, so that sells tickets. Canada also has more of a European style compared to America. That is why European players want to sign in Toronto. That is why Hedo Turkoglu decided, at the last minute, to sign there. Because his wife liked the city, probably reminds her of Turkey. And that explains why Colangelo is signing so many Europeans. I personally think the Raptors should move to Europe, to take on the competition in the Euro league. What Colangelo needs to do next is sign a Chinese player to take advantage of that large Asian population in Canada.
Raptors current roster: Filled with Europeans, more than the average NBA roster.
Andrea Bargnani (Italy) (over LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy in 2006 NBA Draft)
Jose Calderon (Spain)
Hedo Turkoglu (Turkey)
Roko Ukic (Croatia)
Rasho Nesterovic (Slovenia)
Pops Mensah-Bonsu (Britain)
Marco Belinelli (Italy)
Former players:
Jorge Garbajosa (Spain)
Uros Slokar (Slovenia)
Primoz Brezec (Slovenia)

Another question is do Americans want to sign in Canada? No they do not. It hurts the Raptors that they are in another country. A good example of this is Steve Francis in the 1999 NBA draft, in tears after hearing he was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies. He demanded a trade and never played for the Grizzlies. And the Vancouver Grizzlies folded and moved to Memphis. What I mean is most Americans think Canada is a joke, even though its actually a great country. But no way Lebron James(the best player in the world) signs with the Toronto Raptors!!! Its CANADA!!! Nike would never allow it. I mean imagine Michael Jordan signing with the Toronto Raptors, back in the day. That would be crazy!!! Or course it matters a lot if the team actually wins or not.
