Dream “Nightmare” team USA

What has happened to our Olympic basketball team today? The original dream team started in the 1992 Olympics. The starting line up compiled of David Robinson, Karl Malone, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and Magic Johnson. The bench compiled of Charles Barkley,Patrick Ewing, Christian Laettner, Chris Mullin, Scottie Pippen, Clyde Drexler and John Stockton. All of these players today are considered legends, beside Christian Laettner. My point is that the best of the league was playing. Nobody complained, like today’s NBA. The players all loved their country. Today almost nobody in the NBA even wants to play for the Olympics. Sure Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are considered the best in the league. But others like Shaq, Kevin Garnett, Tracy Mcgrady, Tim Duncan, Jermaine O’Neal are also considered the best of the NBA and neither is play. Instead, guys like Tyson Chandler and Mike Miller are. Why are the best of the NBA not playing? Well its because their always injured and they say it’s too tiring. Well how tiring is a basketball game that lasts about an hour? And you have the whole day to prepare. And it’s not like they have jobs, they can go to sleep the whole day. Why are they still tired? Especially being paid millions of dollars. They must be tired, because they spend the whole day playing with women and buying new cars and clothes. Well injures hurt, but others would die to defend their country. Team USA has brought shame to America.

  1. They are getting too old to put their body through that.
