I would pay money to see this remake. Steven Spielberg is a LEGEND but Old Boy is not his genre of movie. And Will Smith?

I’m very surprised Quentin Tarantino (MORE VIOLENCE) didn’t try to take the project or Martin Scorsese( GANGSTER LEGEND) as he remade Oscar winning Chinese Infernal Affairs 2 years ago (THE DEPARTED). He could have remade Old Boy starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s also too bad Stanley Kubrick is dead as he could have made a great remake out of this Old Boy plot.
