Because they made that nice and brand new Sprint Center for a sports team and what better place to have a team then here in KC. We have hosted tons of events from the Big 12, and with Kansas winning the national championship this year, it really put Kansas back on the map. So if the NBA was smart they would have given the team to Kansas instead of Oklahoma City, because Kansas is more of a basketball town than Oklahoma, then the NBA would earn more in KC then they will in Oklahoma City.
